I earned my BA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Acting from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 2002 (it comes in handy for live readings nowadays!), and currently study creative writing in Spalding University’s brief residency MFA program. My first chapbook, Beneath Artificial Stars, was published by Winged City Press in 2013.

For reasons known only to my parents and their parole officer, I was placed in a rocket built using parts yanked from a 1978 Ford Fiesta and a rusty moonshine still, launched high into the air on a wing and a prayer…and made it as far as Evansville, Indiana before the rocket’s Moonshinium power source was depleted.
I still live in Evansville, Indiana with my husband, Ben, as well as our eternal puppy Chow-chow and five cats who make fine art of collaborating mischief. Feel free to find me on Facebook.
As you might imagine, we buy lint-rollers in bulk, and tend to not wear a lot of dark clothing, in any case…
